Growing Season 2006
Welcome to the 2006 Growing Season. This year I have grown sixty Fuchsia Standards, three plants each of twenty different cultivars and show how they develop.
Photographs are to be taken at fortnightly intervals of the plants as they are growing in my garden during the training period April to August. These photographs are shown on my website during the same week they were taken to allow the viewer to see the plants as they grow.
Each cultivar has been shown separately from the other cultivars. Three plants of each cultivar can be seen growing alongside each other. The three plants have an identification label A.B or C which has remained in the same position in the pot. This allows the viewers to identify each plant and view it from the same angle throughout the training period.
To make the training programme more interesting the training methods have been modified slightly to produce plants with different lengths of stems and sizes of heads.
