Growing Season 2008

Welcome to the 2008 Growing Season.

The 2008 growing programme will basically be the same as shown on the website in 2007. Twenty different cultivars being shown on the website growing alongside other cultivars to allow the growth habits to be compared.

To keep the website interesting I have made a few changes to last years programme.

1. All of the plants are grown from spring cuttings rooted in February of this year.
2. More small cultivers are being grown than in previous years as last years the small plants proved to be the most popular.
3. Three plants each of two different cultivars will be shown separately. Lady Boothby a vigorous climbing fuchsia and Satelite a new fuchsia with distinctive flowers. I intend to experiment a little with the training methods of these plants and vary the lengths of stems and size of heads.
